Ashley Crtalic, MS, PCLC

Ashley is a born and raised Montanan with a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and a Master of Science in Rehabilitation and Mental Health Counseling. Following graduate school, Ashley spent eight years working as a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor and Lead Researcher for a small private forensic company. In this role she worked with individuals who had sustained severe traumatic injuries such as traumatic brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, amputations, and burns, determining long term care needs as well as impacts to employability and earning potential. In this position she also served as the project manager for the state of North Dakota’s Extended Services supported employment program for individuals with disabilities. 

Ashley has a passion for research and education, and also worked as an adjunct faculty member at Montana State University – Billings where she taught both graduate and undergraduate courses in the Rehabilitation and Human Services department. Ashley has authored and published multiple articles appearing in five different peer-reviewed academic journals and enjoys presenting at conferences, trainings, and events. She held a position on the Montana chapter of Postpartum Support International’s board of directors for several years as well. 

Ashley left the workforce in 2018 when her son was diagnosed with autism in order to focus on learning all she could to be able to help him thrive. It was at this time she developed a deep passion for perinatal mental health as well as helping other parents of neurodivergent kids. Ashley opened her private practice in November 2022 in order to focus on working with these populations as well as couples.

Ashley’s current practice includes individuals and couples with a variety of mental health focuses. She now works extensively with neurodivergent as well as late-diagnosed or suspected neurodivergent adults.
