Participants will learn to remain calm and think clearly in high-stress situations. The session includes techniques for de-escalating tense interactions, recognizing aggression signs, and maintaining safety. It also covers responses to active shooter situations, including protection and effective communication with authorities. Training emphasizes real-world scenarios and confident decision-making during critical moments.

Do No Harm- Supporting Mental Health with Boundaries and Compassion

This essential training equips Champions to recognize signs of mental distress, engage in supportive conversations, and refer coworkers to the right resources all while protecting their own well-being. Participants will learn how to stay within scope, maintain confidentiality, and apply trauma-informed, culturally competent practices. Champions support others safely and ethically without trying to fix, diagnose, or carry the weight alone.

Mental Health First Aid

Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) is an evidence-based, nationally recognized training that teaches participants how to identify, understand, and respond to signs of mental health and substance use challenges. Similar to CPR or traditional first aid, the course equips individuals with the skills and confidence to provide initial support to someone who may be experiencing a mental health crisis *Both sessions are required for certificate.
